HOPING TO BRING SUNSHINE!
I am a mother, friend, artist and writer. And since there are bills to pay, I decided I will also be an office worker. However, writing is my passion. When I write, I am HOME. I am an officer and webmaster for a big writers’ organization in the Maryland eastern shore and Delmarva Peninsula regions.
I also love music and I LOVE to sing. I am an aspiring musician (guitar and piano). However, as mentioned above, my biggest passion is writing. I enjoy expression through the written word. Words have power – power to destruct and to hurt but also power to inform, entertain, inspire and most importantly to give hope and to heal a broken heart.
It is on this last note that I hope I can impart with you some of the wisdom I have gained and observations I acquired so far in life.
Earlier on, I said I will write about the lighter side of life here – or perhaps better put: taking the more serious on the lighter and brighter side. But just like any other pursuit when anyone starts with a specific goal in mind, this blog has evolved into not simply the lighter side but some serious sides as well, that includes some ranting on my part. Hence, it is more apt to say that this is my “anything goes” blog. I’d rather keep topics that run the gamut here than maintain several theme-based ones. It is easier that way. And easy is ALWAYS good, especially with the complicated lives we lead nowadays.
So…..it is my hope that some of the things I write here and on my other blog (The Spiritual Ponderer) can bring some sunshine and inspiration into your day.
